The idea behind Forja Digital didn't start now. It comes from long before artificial intelligence, Lovable, digital products, or any of today's new technologies.
It comes from 1996, in the countryside of Rio Grande do Sul, when I started working in Human Resources. I was young, had long hair, a different look — far from the expected stereotype of an HR professional at the time. Even so, a few people believed in me: Ronaldo Baptista and Adalgisa da Rosa Porto. And it was there, on the factory floor, that I truly began to understand the value of work, opportunity, and transformation.
One of the people who marked my life the most was seu Anacleto. He worked in an area called "channel breaking" — heavy, physical labor, swinging an almost 20 kg sledgehammer to break off the sprue left by molten iron poured into sand molds. Heat. Effort. Pressure. A real factory floor.
And even in that harsh environment, when I handed him his paycheck printed on continuous-feed paper — the kind from dot-matrix printers, with carbon copies between the sheets — he'd tell me something that never left my mind:
"With this salary, I'll be able to build my little house and pay for my daughter's college."
That shaped me. It was there that I understood work isn't just a paycheck, a title, a process, or a structure. Work changes people's lives. A well-built opportunity can change an entire family.
Forja Digital is born from that same root. From the idea of taking something raw — a will, a restlessness — and turning it into something concrete. A product. A project. A path. A real possibility.
In industry, iron needs heat, pressure, and direction to become a finished part. In professional life, people also need an environment, a method, and someone who believes in them. That's what I received at the start of my journey. That's what I learned watching people like seu Anacleto. And that's what I want to deliver now with Forja Digital.
